Mission

ChangCe=Chance+Change

The mission of ChangCe Thinktank is to promote social objective driven prosperity through public and private partnerships (PPP) by optimizing the synergy among government, academics, NGOs and businesses, with the aim of pooling collective wisdom and knowledge to deliver value added policy outputs that are win-win in the resource constrained society. ChangCe's areas of work are concentrated on the five strategic pillars: governance, economic reform, infrastructure development, climate change and energy, and public health. ChangCe carries out government commissioned and international donor sponsored research projects surrounding the five pillars and have mobilized more than 300 top Chinese scholars and policy makers in multidisciplinary areas to provide cutting edge policy solutions. ChangCe Thinktank also tries to ensure the sustained impact resulted from policy reform.

 

ChangCe Thinktank has expanded its consulting and advisory roles in policy research particularly covering health reform and climate change, which were the most hotly debated issues in the year of 2009. Through directly supporting policy formulation and implementation of Chinese ministries, ChangCe Thinktank has successfully rejuvenated international know-how and secured international community’s support in the public policy planning process. Building on the existing synergies, ChangCe Thinktank has actively formulated strategic international cooperation with multilateral and bilateral stakeholders and developed more than 9 international projects in the areas of health reform, climate change and infrastructure development. ChangCe Thinktank has started to embark its transformation to become one of best think-tanks in China which could bring in collective wisdom of government, academics, NGOs, industry associations, businesses and international community in order to deliver value added policy outputs that are win-win in the resource constrained society.
